I often wonder about the decisions that people made and how they live with it. May Allah give them strength and will to carry on and protect them. May Allah have mercy on them.

I am 22w2d today. Alhamdulillah.. There is not much more that I can ask for these days, i am and have been blessed. Alhamdulillah.. Cik abg pun baru start kerja, the baby's gender has been confirmed as well in Wednesday, so alhamdulillah is all i can say..

PRU13 and PhD

I stumbled across a video on youtube on a certain political figure who happen to have obtained a PhD obviously many many many years ago. I am not about comment or quote the political part of the speech, but what caught my attention was when he said "saya tahu perkara ni, saya buat PhD, saya buat research.." yadda yadda yadda.. I was : baffled, astonished, surprised, simply disgusted!!
As a recent PhD student that has just survived and came out alive from the viva, Never in a million years would I expected someone, whom if they remember the hardship, torture, torment and all uncertainties of doing a PhD, would say something like that. Its not something to be flaunt around like that just to make people acknowledge you, your work or statements. Its an equivalent of saying - I am right because I have a PhD.
Then again, maybe not everyone would have the same thoughts as me. Minta dijauhkan dari sifat2 negatif tersebut. After all its not mine, just a pinjaman dan bila2 masa Allah boleh tarik balik..
